On the 26th local time, during the 46th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Zheng Ruohua, deputy head of the Chinese government delegation and secretary for justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, made a video speech. Zheng Ruohua said that after the enactment of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Hong Kong has restored the rule of law and order, and residents can resume their normal lives.
